It is interesting how when I begin to thrive in one form of art, the skills that I developed opened new doors for me and lead me into new directions. For example, my experiences in creating large urban chalk drawings that can exceed 100+ square feet gave me the confidence and exposure to create large custom murals.

The making of a mural begins with the design process, where I spend a great deal of time with the customer to establish exactly what they are expecting. We talk about design intent, colors, sizing, and site logistics. I prepare a number of concept designs to be viewed and approved in advance.

Once we have all of the approvals, we set the schedule for implementation and completion. I am very fortunate to have developed skills with computer design programs and the use of virtual reality headsets to assist in the design and layout of the mural.
